Are these parts really neccesary?

I took my hubs off to get powdercoated. I'm just wondering if these parts can stay off. It would definately get rid of some uglyness.

I have them off mine. Its a root and Rock guard thats all.

Dude this is off topic but you say you are from chesapeke? I used to live in D.C. we used to go to the putuxont base and go crabbing on goose lake. I caught a shit ton of skates out there. Them things are good eatin' just thought I would see if you knew where that was. :biggrin:

Nice. Skate is what they make imitation scallops out of. They cut off their wings, punch holes out of them, and throw the skate's back in the water. They regenerate their wings.

i took mine off. probably doesnt save too much weight, but it def looks better.
