i opened up my carbs to change the jets yamaha had put in, and this thing fell out of the choke side carb. i couldnt find where it fell out of, the 2 jets that look like it are both installed. did they just screw up and leave it inside while they had it open? fucking dealers.

Looks like the choke jet that screws down into the bowl, and yes, #4 shows the main jet and washer removed. I'm assuming you took that out, just don't forget the washer. wWhat are the numbers on that jet? Should be something like 2.4 if it's the choke jet, and a little shorter and wider than the pilot.

Is that bike hard to start at all?

If im not mistaken thats called an air jet,it gives you more adjustability with your pilot circiut if your not happy with the 2.5 increments stock pilots offer

the ar jet is shown in the bottom pic. (installed) it controlls the air flow to the emulsion tube. (the needle jet that you screw the main into)
