liveordie72089 Posted March 19, 2009 Author Report Posted March 19, 2009 (edited) Cleaned the coupler to my reeds. Just trying to make it as clean as it gets untill i go and run it in the dirt lol. Got my head back from the shop. Went with a .050 bore. Using Wiesco Pistons and a Hot Rod crank will join the build. Still waiting on the Gaskets for the engine but in the mean time I received my cool head so I decided to start the top end of the build. Just trying to do the small things first. I kinda polished a few things. Just to make sure it was extra good. Sorry for the crap quality pics I used my cell to take them not the other camera. So their not that good of quality but you kinda can get a glimpse of it. Ill should be receiving the gaskets soon I ordered them a little while back but still havent got here. But maybe they'll be in soon. Edited March 19, 2009 by liveordie72089 Quote
boneyardbanshee. Posted March 19, 2009 Report Posted March 19, 2009 looking nice. You should take that head back off when you get your gaskets in. That way you can bolt your cylinders down evenly to prevent any problems. Quote
liveordie72089 Posted March 19, 2009 Author Report Posted March 19, 2009 Definitely will try that mate. Thanks for the heads up. I just hope this damn company sends the gaskets out I wanna ride again. Even though I did get a Suzuki LT230 someone gave me so I get to ride that thing haha... Nothing like my Shee though Quote
liveordie72089 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Report Posted March 20, 2009 Started the bottom end of my build. Here are the pics of the process. I installed everything back on and put the all the bolts back in. Still got some work to do before I leave tomorrow to Indiana to get a bike. Here's the pics. Ok to start off here's a video of what I did and used to smooth down the bottom of the case that was messed up from the shattered bearing. Yes I know I used a damn Kawasaki drill haha. No I'm kidding I like them. Haha my friend was in the garage and he is a HUGE Kawasaki fan and used it to do the bitch work for a YAMAHA haha. Just giving him shit. lol Hot Rod crank about to be installed. Hot rod crank sitting in the engine. God it looks like its supposed to be there lol. Put gasket sealer on. Hope you enjoyed. Will be posting up more pics hopefully tomorrow hope you enjoy. Quote
liveordie72089 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Report Posted March 20, 2009 What should I do to break in my build? It should be done today and dont wanna start it up and not know what to do? Quote
TwistedSheeRida Posted March 20, 2009 Report Posted March 20, 2009 i would take an easy run through all the gears, check plugs if there good just keep running it through the gears but try not to wind it out for a few rides. thats what i would do Quote
