The only from that kart that "came" from australia or the edge is the look and shape, nothing else, the front suspension, and rear has far more travel then the normal edge sidewinder.... I was bashed because it was suppose to be lighter... it weights a little less then I said, about 280kg with fuel and all... It does have a lot of ground clearance... It was a nice toy... RZ350 vs Banshee Well ask most builders who know anything about porting on that side or the known specs... Stock banshee has a exh duration off 180 degrees, RZ350 (depending on model) is 194-197...which is allready dunner-drag in stock form... The cyliders 31k was STOCK standard claimed 58hp compare to the banshee's 37hp... 1UA cylinders was 61hp... So yes in stock form the RZ is MUCH stronger, the advantage with the YPVS is still bottem end with nice killer top... I have a 4mm RZ banshee, even buy just putting a NON ported 31k cylinder RZ motor/cylinders in a Banshee is "like" sending the cylinders out for a port job, you will not believe how the RZ motor pulls the banshee IN STOCK form... The banshhe IN STOCK form will not pull that kart near as close as a RZ motor in STCOK form... I am a member on the RZ forums in europe, the RZs dyno in stock form from 56-62 hp, so the claims is qute accurate from Yamaha... Pint is STOCK for stock is that a RZ is about 20hp stronger then a Banshee motor... Yes a BAnshee motor can outrun a RZ, its just all about port timings... Which is the RZ's advantage in stock form... Quote
