I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOME JETS TO WILL MAKE IT RUN REALLY GOOD AND IT WILL HAVE ALOT OF THROTTLE CONTROL!!!!! PLEASE HELP AS I HAVE A RACE WITH IT TOMMOROW, SO I HAVE TO REJET IT TODAY I have original reeds, fmf pipes, Knn air filter, original carbs, jetting would be for summer... weather around 17-23, my elevation is approximately 1048 m (3440 ft) above sea level Quote
RollinRhino Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 270 mains is what you need or start with 260s. Quote
AKheathen Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 if you run summer jetting for the race, you could melt a piston. if you are running the gas from the local station up there, i'd say you'll be closer to the 300-320 range, and have to play with the needle to get the midrange right Quote
bansheeseat$$ Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 I'm going to recommend 280 mains with 25 pilots on those fmf,s and K&n filter set up.Needle should be in the 2nd clip from the top. Quote
