wvelectrician Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 will it cause it to backfire if so what size is that tube goin from carb to carb Quote
RagunCajun Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 It's the same size as the fuel timing going to the petcock to the carbs. If you dont run it, it will have horrible low end and be a bitch to start. When i first built my shee, i forgot it was on there and i had TONS of problems with it. Put the crossover on and everything was fine. Quote

lokisbuddy Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 I am not certain but it may cause backfiring from it sucking too much air wouldnt it? Quote
ryansedy Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 i thought i had the same problem as u. but i took the carb and reeds off the side it was throwing flames out the back. and found out bottom of one of my pistons was broke. it would still run, but might want to check before you do more damage.
