thelegend702 Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 I have a problem.Installed timing plate and set to +4.Bike ran good for several days. The only other thing i did to the bike was lube clutch and throttle cables. Now the shee will bog out in 2nd gear only under load, such as hill climb or drag on slight incline.Runs pretty good on the flats. Please note that throttle cable setting was returned to original position and was still having the same problem.Thumb throttle had some extra play so when lubing I tightened cable at throttle.Runs without bogging out in first.????????????????. Installed a timing plate; hmm did you lock-tite the bolts that hold it to the case? I've seen cases where the bolts loosen up and the timing plate starts to slip. Quote
