Misssppelllleddd Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 Ok I am getting a new round house swinger from LSR but I don't know what length I should get. I mostly like riding on the track but also ride through some sand, hills, and wide trails some. What is the big advantage of having a shorter swinger? And I have a Works rear shock. Can that be adjusted to fit the needs of a shorter swinger? :ermm: Quote
peterlocal22 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 shorter swing arm hooks up better because your weight is dir. over rear tires. it shifts the weight around so your front end feels lighter and wheelies are a breeze. if your running up hills you need to be alittle carefull because the front end will need more of your weight to keep her from flippen. i love my -2 really glad i switched Quote
POORBOY350 Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 they make a -1 if you cant make your mind up Quote
Misssppelllleddd Posted March 1, 2009 Author Report Posted March 1, 2009 Does it also effect the way the quad will handle jumps? Like easier control or better preload? Quote

peterlocal22 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Does it also effect the way the quad will handle jumps? Like easier control or better preload? great for jumping because the front end is easier to controll, feels lighter because of the weight transfer Quote
lilmegill727 Posted March 3, 2009 Report Posted March 3, 2009 the -2 swinger definetly helps in jumping and just in overall hook-up. great for mx and trails! turns on such a smaller radius and grips like a mofo! Quote
