regalrocket Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Stock engine, PTR mids, Boysen power reeds, 4 degree advance, aftermarket foam air filter 27.5 pilots. Its in the 40's here, but even with 310 jets it still feels lean in the mid range. I had the needles one up from the bottom, and it still had a bog when you first got the roll going from a dead stop. I just wanted to know what other people are running for jetting with these pipes. It seems like 310 is way fat, but it runs great on the top end, plugs look rich, but the midrange is still lean. Thanks guys. Quote
shanYE west Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 where is the air screw set at? Quote
elwilliams13 Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 I had them on a stocker with 270 mains and 25 pilot 1.5 turns out. Put them on a 4mil with trail port and went 27.5 1.5 turns out needle in the middle clip 280 main and been running it for a while and runs strong. It's a good low to mid pipe a bunch of torque. Quote
DallasGDub Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 I was 1.5 turns out, 3rd clip, stock P, 280 M, stock motor on pods, 500' 75-85F riding temp. Short bog if I dump the throttle, but I just feathered it out of the hole. Quote
