with 35mm carbs can you use the stock air box setup? Soon i will be getting them and i like the stock box because it offers a lot of protection from mud and water from soaking the air filter.

right now i have a 2 into 1 and i have an adapter to fit the stock box is that something I'll be able to find?

The stock boots can be cut to fit: http://www.duncanracing.com/techfaq/Instal...a-banshee.phtml

You might also run into the fact that the left carb rubs on the clutch lever. You can either grind down a bit on the bottom drain bolt on the bowl, it can then still be removed for easy main jet access. Some people weld the hole shut...wouldn't do that. Or you can get the spacers to move the carbs back a bit.

Or you can sometimes bend the clutch arm down...

You need bigger boots to go from the carb to the box.

Also...if you're intake manifolds are real thick (those that have build in crossover tubes, etc) they might push the carb back too far.

You might want to stick to UPP for intakes if you want to use your stock airbox....
