330 R killer Posted February 7, 2009 Author Report Posted February 7, 2009 sounds like water is getting into the tranny oil what would couse that?? gasket looked good. Quote
tony cub Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 could be from the water pump shaft seal.or from the o-ring on the pipe under your carbs(can't come up with the name of that pipe right now) Quote
tony cub Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 your clutch maybe fine.the antifreeze mixed with the tranny oil will cause it to slip.your going to have to remove the clutch cover to replace the o-ring so just check your clutch while your there.i would get a EBC or a Dirt digger for a trail bike. tony cub Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 (edited) ye send me some pics please, no the are not blue and black at all... first you have to have the clutch cover in hand..if you look on the back you will see a plastic gear(pic #2)..remove the c-clip AND PIN(dont lose that pin).go on the front side and remove the gold looking plate that has 5 screws(pic 1).there you will see the inpeller.slid it out and you will see your seal http://img141.imageshack.us/my.php?image=c...cover002fp0.jpg http://img10.imageshack.us/my.php?image=cl...cover001pj8.jpg Edited February 7, 2009 by tony cub Quote
Onesickcrewcab Posted February 7, 2009 Report Posted February 7, 2009 Sounds like your water pump seal is bad as stated above. Slide the water pump out and check the shaft for a groove. If you have a billet water pump impeller it is pretty common the seal will put a groove in the water pump shaft causing it to leak. If you have the stock water pump impeller its most likely the water pump seal. Quote
