Hey guys,

Picked up a brand new G force axle after reading favorable reviews of it here. I just ripped it out of the box, and it looks like a nice piece. I see it comes with a single pinch nut for tightening the axle bearings. Just wondering what everyone tightens the nut to before they clamp the nut with the little allan bolt? Of course the instructions leave this part out! thanks

I tightened mine just enough so that everything still turned free. If you tighten it to much and spinn by hand you will feel it bind. Also make sure you keep an eye on the nut. The 1st few times I rode the bike after the install I noticed the nut liked to loosen up a little. Just a heads up

same shit just on a another day..happened to me as well....A pretty dose of medium Loctite on it and tighten it up fairly normal, definately not too much !!! Let the Loctite work for a 2 days and its never gonna come off by itself...

I concur. I put blue loctite on the nut itself, and then a couple of drops of red on the pinch bolt and all is good. I think loctite is the most important thing any banshee owner can keep in his tool box. LOL
