fastrthnu Posted January 27, 2009 Report Posted January 27, 2009 I have a million records I would like to put on my computer,. is there any way I can record them onto my computer and convert them to mp3 or just to save them on the PC. My sub responds to 18hz and I can listen to records very loud without the needle vibrating and then it sounds like a helicopter landing in my living room. I dont have any programs, but windows vista. It would be nie no not have to flip and change all the time too, esp with the ol 7" ers. I have the wire already that goes from the rca`s to the headphone on the back of the computer which Im sure can be reversed to output/microphone or something? Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 (edited) Yes there is a few different ways to transfer Tapes, 8 track and records to a pc with the right RCA cables, sound card with a LINE IN jack and software...but i aint explaining cause i don't feel like typing all of it LOL...... so i will give you a link to the software and instructions.so you can get it done. Pretty simple to do, but if you cant figure it out let me know. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...StepByStep.aspx Edited January 29, 2009 by savage420 Quote
swrbansheeboy Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 there are a dozen ways to transfer audio to your comp and convert to mp3 but if all your trying to do is transfer lp's then you can purchase a usb turntable. Quote
