sorry if this has been talked about already.

 

 

I was just riding and i went to hit the throtle and i went no where. So i stopped and hit the gas and the bike was in gear and still wasnt going anywhere?

 

any ideas? :biggrin:

If you know its going into gear than there is a couple things you should check, I went through the same crap. 1) do you have the right tranny case oil, if its to thick it will cause clutch slippage 2) your preasure plate on the clutch has 6 different ways it can go on, but only one eay works, if its not on right you'll have the same problem 3) You may have burn'd up your clutch.... I have done all 3 of these things before, it was really late at night lol

how much does it cost for the plates and stuff?

It depends on the brand and where you buy them... I like the Tusk kits, I think it was about 40 for it through rocky mountain ATV i suggest going there and looking around

You can get a barnett fibers and steels for about 100 bucks. I am not tyring to say you replaced it wrong , but I would make sure it was adjusted right before i replaced it. You have the adjustment on the clutch pusher and the cable.
