ban99 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Dents in the pipes obviously will effect the performance of it and make sure the mounting brackets are not cracked and/or missing. Also keep in mind that used silencers will most likely need to be re-packed. Quote

I cant tell you how many times I have bought something and was pissed about it. I am a little picky though. But damn a ding is not a dent, and slightly used doesnt mean beat to hell. mark101180 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 yea insulation doesnt work for shit. the thing will still be loud and it burns out real fast. well it may work with a high density insulation like r-21 i used r-19 and packed the shit out a fmf cr250 silencer and it didnt work very well. kb247 Posted January 23, 2009 Report Posted January 23, 2009 I have found good deals on E-Bay but you need to be aware of some sellers, some ask way too much $ for things that you can get a way better deal on elsewhere. Some sellers think what they have is worth more than waht it actually is. Personally I've found many good deals right here on HQ. Take a look around the for sale section and if you don' t find it there hell post what you're looking for, trust me there are enough people on HQ someone will have what you want for the price you are willing to pay.
