okbasspro Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 Hello I am looking for a set of tires for running at the river. I run Scat tracs for the dunes but to much trash at the river for running my drag tires. I have a +12 Swinger and the Sand Gear Tires look like they will hook good in the loose river sand. Can anyone give me pros and cons they seem cheap enough and being a molded tire should hold up to the trash better. Quote
SandRageShee Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 ive seen those used in person. and they fold over when you get going. they like to spin on any extended bike.. ive had better luck with sand stars than those.and plus sandstars are cheaper Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Posted January 20, 2009 i wouldnt run those.. try some sandstars if you want a dune tire that you can turn easily with. Quote
