dajogejr Posted January 16, 2009 Report Posted January 16, 2009 Unless you're on a closed course race track or the back 40 on your private land, use packing in your silencer... It absorbs the noise and deadens it. Your pipes are also designed to run with the back pressure the packing creates... Go to the hardware store and get a roll of corning pink panther house insulation, peel or cut the paper off and wrap the core. Done. Quote

dajogejr Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Unless you have a ported motor for duning and drag racing, you'll like the Pro Circuits better. The Vitos are a Shearer type mid to top end RPM pipe...and work better with ported motors. Quote

So if I put the vitos with the stock motor I will loose power? Quote

Have to trailer up and head to Maryland for anything decent. Quote

Really there's no place to ride here unless you want to take a chance with cops or the rangers, cause the spot I go to is private and the guy travels alot and I can only go when he's here. Where you located? I'm in Wilmington. I was tryin to find people close to see where they ride. Quote

There are some decent trails behind Delaware Industrial Park that run up to and along I-95. Its Conectiv owned land and the only problems I have heard of is from people that were illegally parked in the industrial park getting their shit towed. I am just getting started, so I haven't been too many places. Still have a lot of bugs to work out on my shee. The place in Maryland is really nice. It starts off of Fletchwood Rd by Newark Elkton Road and you can ride for hours all the way to Perryville. You can hit big flat fields, hills, Pits and nice trails all along the way. This kid that works for me lives by it and took me there. Quote

Carefull behind the industrial park cause the day I went we got pulled over by the cops when we left and they said is illegal to be backthere. They told me in Delaware city by the st georges bridge it's big but cops and rangers go backthere also and they can take your bike away. What about Maryland, alot of people go there? The cops don't bother you? Quote
Facetious Posted January 17, 2009 Report Posted January 17, 2009 Yea the C&D Canal is off limits big time. Never heard of any or had any issues in Maryland yet. Quote
