BMLIONS Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 Can anyone give me any info on some Paul Turner pipes? I talk to a guy that had them on his banshee and he said they are worth every penny. I just want to know i guess if they are the best pipes out there or what is better. Quote
studroes Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 it all depends on your riding style. i do all top end riding and i have shearers. they are awesome from the powerband and up but as for trails..a definate not!! Quote
boneyardbanshee. Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 (edited) What do you mean by top end pipes? Do you mean, a good brand? OR do you mean, a high reving pipe. Either way the answer is YES. They are a very good pipe. And they have a set of mid. range pipes and high rev. pipes. I have never heard anything bad about that company. Just buy accordingly. I will be running the PT mids this year on my trail monster. Cant wait. Edited January 13, 2009 by boneyardbanshee. Quote
tundish2800 Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 I had a set of hi revs on my last bike and loved them Still have them in garage if you are lookin for a set Quote
shanYE west Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 The PT hi-rev pipes are VERY versatile.. they have a very smooth power delivery and still has very good topend. I'd describe them as T-5's with smoother power. better low and better top. But.. their pricey new... so if you can get a deal on a used set... I'd go for it. If I was building another duner.. PT hi-rev would be the pipe i'd use. Quote
1996dragshee Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 I had pt highs on my stock cylinder motor and loved em.Like shayne said they're a very smoth pipe.I ran them in the trails and then on the track.A descent all around pipe imo Quote
DallasGDub Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 I loved the PT Mids on the trails. Very smooth power if you want it, but also light switch instant speed when you need it to swing around, get ahead on a strait, or even make a jump. I only sold mine to go with something with a little more topend, little less low end. Quote
decon Posted January 13, 2009 Report Posted January 13, 2009 I run the PT Hi Rev in the trails, great pipe w/ a very smooth power delivery. I used to run T5's but I like the Pt's better. They have a great midrange and pull hard up top. If I'm slowed down on a hill I can easily blip the throttle and the powerband will pick back up. I want to try PT mids and see how they compare. Quote
