AKheathen Posted January 15, 2009 Report Posted January 15, 2009 oh no man thats cool understandable any help is good help and your prob right....that shit is thick hahaha the whole thing just has me in a head spin im gonna rip it apart and see what i see maby the clutch is smoked but i do know i have never adj it and im pretty sure the prev owner never did either. so im hoping it will work. anybody know anything about the impeller on the water pump ticking??? it's no biggie to pull the water pump cover and check the impellar, which is plastic, unless upgraded. also, you'll be pullin the clutch cover, which houses the impellar, so you can check there too. just remember that the philips screws are #3, not #2, or you could strip the heads easy. hey dave, what oil are you runnin? i've been lookin for good oil that doesn't have probs when the cases are below zero, and i know if you're runnin it, then it's gotta be good enough for me. Did you ever think about changing it and seeing if anything improved with your problem. I run a better oil than gear saver, and I change mine every 12-16 hours of riding time. Quote
