sheerider1026 Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 got the bike together and installed it.. i am using the direct drive lockout.. while idling and low rpms i am hearing a slight chatter noise from under the clutch cover.. is this noise from the fingers on the lockout spinning around and tapping the clutch pressure plate?? do you guys with lockouts ever notice this? AKheathen Posted January 10, 2009 Report Posted January 10, 2009 bump i don't have a lockup , but i would expect the weights to make niose @ idle, given the gearing between the clutch and crank. with all the lockouts runnin out there, i would've expected someone else to reply by now :shrug: Quote
jbooker82 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 I cant say for sure. Mine makes a noise at idle but I cant remember if it did befoe the lock up or not. I just write it off as general banshee noise. Quote
