donkeypuncher Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 just wonderin what you guys use to polish your aluminum stuff. do you use straight elbow grease or is there an easier/more effective way to polish to a mirror/chrome like finish? i tried using one of those polishing balls you put on a drill for my wheels but it didnt work all that well. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 those polishing balls suck ass on planet bullshit. Depending on what your trying to polish the best way is to use a bench grinder with some polishing wheels on it with a compound first and some polish. Now as far as good brands i'm not to sure. Quote

regalrocket Posted January 9, 2009 Report Posted January 9, 2009 An angle grinder with a buffing wheel on it is a mean mother F'r at polishing stuff. We use it for show cars to do stuff like gas tanks and other large stuff. Very portable, and can get into wheels very easily. Quote

Dirty Sanchez Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 I went to harbor freight and got a $65 bench buffer with wheels on it. went to home depot and got some polish for $3 dollars. I used to do it all by hand. as far as imo that was some of the best money i have ever spent! Nothing against you Eric im sure you stuff is awsome. i have heard good things about the work you do.
