mignumspeed Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 i cant figure out the lights on thIS thing it runs so that means the stator is good right i tested the two wires coming from the stator yellow and black and i get no voltage so any ideas! AKheathen Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 did you have the meter on a/c? ohm between the wires and ground. they should have a little resistace, but not much. if nothing, pull the flywheel and check if the ground is good in the middle, and if the coils are cooked. the lights have their own circut on the stator. Snopczynski Posted January 5, 2009 Report Share Posted January 5, 2009 Ohm between the black wire and the motor. If the connection is good there should be less than 2 ohms of continuity. If you have the meter on ac with the bike running, then probe black and the yellow. You should see 10-14 volts.
