Rebuild

ok guys after abit of imput from the guys on the HQ regarding me trying to short cut a crankcase seal replacement ive decided to do it properly and give the motor a full rebuild.

 

Now while its apart what should i check and change ,ill be doing pistons/rings/and rod bearings and just wanted to know what else would be worth changing while its apart.

 

Also i ride a mixture off dune and trail riding so what mods will be good to do while im doing the rebuild, nothing to wild but something fast and reliable and to help it from not overheating in the summers

have your pistons coated and case match to your transfers. also, check out your impeller; any doubts on that, just replace it :thumbsup:

ok cheers yeh was gonna look at getting a stainless impeller aswell

was also considering a cool head of some brand also.wiseco prolite pistons

any other suggestions guys?

Shift star mod, pancake bearing. Put a 4mill in it and have it ported for the crank. :thumbsup:
