ok i pulled my flywheel off to change out the stator and just for giggles i shook it and there is something inside like its broken shakeing around. is my flywheel bad. could this be another reason why i am getting no spark. t hanks

YES, your magnets are broken and without your magnets no sparky sparky. :confused:

dang and i just spent 160 bicks on a new stator. and 100 bucks on a coil 30 dollars for a cdi. guess i am off to ebay to find a flywheel. thanks. jason

Yep. :cool:

You should advance your timing +4 while you have your flywheel off it makes a HUGE difference and it is free if you slot your own stator or you can buy one for 35$

it has a aftermarket plate on it that can be advanced all the way to +10 it was on +2 when i took it off. looking for a flywheel know. thanks for the help
