Sounds like a good deal, the cheapest I've seen new fronts with no rezzies was $700 I think, and I believe a rear is about $500. I could be wrong though. They're supposed to be the cadillacs of shocks though. Quote

Bansh-eman Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 what the hell is the "spacer" for that they need?i wonder if they need a rebuild MJ this is the spacer they are talking about... it's common with afer market shocks that they need shims or spacers that fit in the eyelet of the hiem joint to takeup any slack (side to side) so the shock bolts up snug. grpark20 Posted December 24, 2008 Report Posted December 24, 2008 Rebuild and revalve through elka is like $300ish depending on what all is needed. You can get brand new straight from elka front shockss with rezzies preload and compression adjustable for $780 shipped or ATV galaxy for $750 shipped......the rear is the same price and has remote rezzie and rebound adjustment....If the shocks need a rebuild it's not worth it in my opinion....if they are already set up for you then its a deal.
