pearlsnap1 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I am going on a trail ride in january, and I was wandering what if anything i should do with my bike to keep water out of my filters. I am not going to be mudding just rinding on some wet trails. Quote

peterlocal22 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 ya hyperlite is right thats the beth way to keep the water out Quote
T_Shee Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 if not i would def run outerwears. that still wont keep you all the way dry though. the only time youll get her wet is if you hit a pretty good puddle at a pretty good speed. if its slower trails you should be ok. better safe then sorry tho Quote
fastrthnu Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 yeh, I found out puddles+pods=you pissed off. Quote
bonbon Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 yeh, I found out puddles+pods=you pissed off. Me too. I got lucky though and didn't seize anything up. Your best bet would be to have the stock air box. Quote
Dick Wheels Posted December 20, 2008 Report Posted December 20, 2008 Pull a old sock over your pods then put the outterwears on over that. Should keep you pretty well protected. Like a condom for your air filter! LOL Quote
