druw Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 I GOT A 1997 BANSHEE THAT THIS GUY WAS SUPPOSED TO REBUILD THE MOTOR FOR ME, AND HE KEPT SAYING HE COULDNT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AFTER HE REBUILT IT. WHEN YOU CRANK IT UP ONE PIPE GETS HOTTER THAN THE OTHER ALOT FASTER. I THINK I HAVE A CRACK IN THE THE CASE, COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM??? PLZ HELP ME I DONT WANNA PART IT OUT OR SELL IT!!! Quote
robbo350 Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 i had t as of the same problem was told its a crankcase seal ,havent got it all back together yet so couldnt confirm.maybe someone else could shed some light on this problem? what pipe is not getting as hot? cheers Quote

pinkshee Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 definitely check for an air leak, mine was doing the same thing. found the leak in the left intake boot, right around the nipple for the boost bottle. i sealed it with some super black and it worked like a charm. Quote
