baddsheee Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 Rebuilding the top end on the blaster and was wondering what could I use to flush the bottom end out. I know the best way is to split the cases but I'm not dealing with that. I have the motor removed and was going to spray a bunch of carb cleaner and keep flushing upside down. Any better suggestions? shee4speed Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 I was told you can flush it out with diesel. Did you blow a hole in the piston or what got in there? Quote
baddsheee Posted December 6, 2008 Author Report Posted December 6, 2008 I was told you can flush it out with diesel. Did you blow a hole in the piston or what got in there? It started to melt but didn't blow a hole. The reason I want to flush is due to leaving it open for a few months :shoothead: and it seems a little dusty in there. Quote
