Soupbox660 Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 So a while back, me and a buddy were riding and we were out in the rain on some wet pavement drifting around and spinning tires and all that good stuff, when the clutch on the shee went out. The only thing is, is that it didn't go out like it normally would. When you squeeze the clutch nothing happens. The cable is still attached and the lever down by the shaft is still operating and there is a slight resistance when you pull the lever, almost like a broke all but one spring or something, but the clutch doesn't work. It still drives just fine and I rode it home and just jammed gears, which isn't good, but it got me home. I know I need to tear into it, which I will, but I just wanted to see if anyone knew what it was off the top of their head before I go spending money on it. Quote

You may be able to get it out without splitting the case. Look into a pancake bearing so that never happens again. Quote
