Soupbox660 Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 The steering stem on my Raptor is twisted  and i'm gonna just go ahead and throw a tag stem in with the tag bar system and all that. Why? I don't know. Bored I guess. But what I do wanna know is if anyone knows about adding a +1 stem to the Raptor if its better or not. I dont know if I should stick with stock height or go to +1. Just wanted to see if anyone had some opinions. Quote

Just wanted to see if anyone had some opinions. it's about praferance, and your own geometry. put the front up on a trailer ar something and lean foreward like you're climing, then if you can, moove the shaft up an inch and do it again. then see how it is if you land a jump. it's all on you. i can only warn you this- my friend put risers on his sled, and when i hopped on to jump it, it was a little akward going into the jump, bu worse, when i lamded, there wasn't enough room for my arms and legs to take it together. i broke the schaphoid bone in my hand, and was out for 6 months of riddin. and that was fast for that bone. i'm taller, but ride a little more aggressive than him, so be carefull if you let someone else ride. Soupbox660 Posted December 2, 2008 Author Report Posted December 2, 2008 Thanks man. Good call. I think I will just go with stock height. Ive always done just fine with the regular height. Changing things now would probably send me end over end into a ravine. Quote
