Will I need a new adaptor with my filter

Hey guys I just bought a dual stage uni filter for my banshee and I was wondering if it works with the 2into1 K&N filter adaptor.

there are big opening ones and small. 2 different sized k&n adapters and foam filter. make sure you have the right one.

What do you mean by that? You mean there are 2 different k&n adaptors and one that fits a foam filter or there are 2 K&N adaptors and 1 foam filter adaptor?

the adaptor that has 2 is the one with the 2 in 1 and the foam goes over the one with 2 so you have to get one with for 2 so that the 2 work wih one.

Sorry but that didn't make a whole lot of sense either. Are you saying that the stock adaptor is the one the foams use?

then no, that filter is made for the 2/1 setup that goes directly onto the carbs, not in the airbox. that is not an airbox filter.

not for a banshee airbox anyways unless there is a round adaptor plate made Ive never seen or heard of.

So your saying the filter i linked does not have an adapter that fits it? I find that hard to believe. If posting were driving I have reason to believe you couldn't do it legally :biggrin:

no, Im saying the oval adaptor you have wont work with the filter you put a link down too. that filter goes to a DIFFERENT setup that doesnt utilize the airbox and adaptor that you have now.

So this filter doesn't utilize the airbox off of my banshee? I really need to get a clean filter before I do any engine work. K&N's don't work very well with dirt.

Nobody has a link of the right adapter i need? I'm sure one person on the hq has this setup.
