Penny's Banshee Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 I just bought a banshee that used to run on alky and not sure if it has a 4 mil crank in it or not. What is the easiest way to tell? Any help would be appreciated Quote
00tbanshee Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 see if there is a spacer plate on the top or bottom of the cylinder more likely the bottom if not pull the head off if the piston comes out of the cylinder about 2mm then its a 4mil Quote
PACIFIC NW BANSHEE Posted November 22, 2008 Report Posted November 22, 2008 I just bought a banshee that used to run on alky and not sure if it has a 4 mil crank in it or not. What is the easiest way to tell? Any help would be appreciated Here is your answer kinda spendy http://jjandaracing.com/ go to other stuff on there web site and you will find the lie detector screws into spark plug and kick bike over and walla you have you stroke .The spacer plates are a dead thing nobody is really running them anymore where iam at now it is all about sleeper.Machine the head and run the correct gasket with your stock juggs/barrels and in all outward apearance you will never know stock crank or 4 mil . I think if you are smart enough you can/could build something cheaper to figure out stroke of motor with out taking the top end off good luck Quote
