huskyohilux Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 the left slide goes up alittle bit beofre the right side not much though. If you can see that the slides open unevenly start by syncing them. They MUST open simultaneously. Get a sync tool from FAST. I sync mine bye eye but it'll only get them close not 100%. And get rid of the TORS system! Quote
fatboyracingg Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 i would sync your carbs. give them a good cleaning. Quote
2001Stroker Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 Husky and Fatboy beat me to it. Sync the carbs. Does the engine break up at higher RPM's? Just like mentioned above, get rid of the TORS. It'll only cause you more problems in the future. Quote
BlasterKX Posted November 14, 2008 Author Report Posted November 14, 2008 (edited) i think it was more of just being cold and not warmed up but it would do the usual studdering then take off and then after i took it down the street once or twice it would have insane throttle response so im thinking it just needs the carbs synced and let it warm up longer before i take off on it. i synced them by eye tonight and they look dead on even put them WOT about 30 times and kept watching and it didnt change or anything so i think im good. i also noticed that the side that is popping the exhaust wasnt all the way up against the jug due to bad springs so i am going to get new springs also. just kinda dangeld loosley Edited November 14, 2008 by BlasterKX Quote
