craptorkiller Posted November 16, 2008 Author Report Posted November 16, 2008 the domes say 17 on the side. i havent cc'd em. but i had the jugs re-honed and put it back together and made 100 percent sure the rings were corect. i did a compression check and about 165 on each side. im pretty sure both rings weren't seated properly? kinda weird but its the only thing that makes sense. thanks for all the help!! Wildcardracing Posted November 16, 2008 Report Posted November 16, 2008 Glad to hear you got it all worked out and that there was no damage to the pistons. I still wouldn't recommend running 165psi on pumpgas, you will need at least 100 octane for that much compression. Quote
