i was wondering if sst's are good? ive heard that they're really good. i dont mind forking out some extra cash if theyre worth it. i have powercore2's and stock pipes so i want to get fmf's

I have used them for eveything from riding on the road to mx. I love them and considering what I paid for them when they first came out and what you can get them for now they are WELL worth it.

I have SST's and PowerCore II's on my bike. They are definately a well rounded pipe and silencer combo. They hit pretty hard, and fairly low in the RPM's. I am considering getting a set of Shearer Inframes, just to compliment my motor and my aggressive riding style. I would recommend SST's to anyone who rides trail or just goofs off.

Is the sst's better then fatty's?

I personaly dont know either as I have only ran stock and then the ssts with the powercore II. But there is a reason that these are the only pipes I have tried

I personally don't know. Never had any, or any experiences with them. But I have heard that they are better pipes than the Fatty's and the Gold's.

alright well i have the powercore 2 silencers but i was thinking if the sst's are better i would get them.

The thing is...if you have standard powercore 2's, they won't work with the SST's. SST's use a proprietary silencer. The length and diameter is different than a standard FMF Fatty.

Either pick up a set of Fatty's and use your silencers or buy both pipes and silencers if you want the SST's.

Are you saying they don't fit together? I have SST's and PowerCore II's on my bike as we speak. The silencers even have little stickers that say "SST".
