m barrett Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 when i first take off the quad wants to stall but once your going its fine.you have to keep reving it to take off from 1 gear the quad is all stock just like it left the dealer i didnt change anything yet.i also cleaned the carbs Quote
locogato11283 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 well it sounds like youre just taking out in first gear.. if you dont feather the throttle the bike wont go. sounds pretty normal to me. Quote
2001Stroker Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Sit back on the seat, as far as you can. Floor the throttle, and dump the clutch. Just kiddin dude. These bikes seem like they have a tall first gear when you're taking off. Loco said it, feather the throttle when you're taking off. You'll learn it quick. Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Play with your clutch. Put the bike in first, and just practice taking off in first gear a couple times. You'll soon notice where the clutch is when the bike starts engaging. Learn to feel for it, and you'll be golden. Quote
