unpleasntdeath Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Should I have to give the shee gas to start it? Or should it be just a kick without gas to start? Quote
T_Shee Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 Should I have to give the shee gas to start it? Or should it be just a kick without gas to start? with the choke on you shouldnt need any throttle to start it Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 It depends on a lot of things. How clean are your carbs? What kind of carbs are they? Air filter? Are the plugs all good? When was it last ran? You shouldn't have to give it much gas. (If any.) If you are having hard starting problems, then there is an issue. Quote
unpleasntdeath Posted October 27, 2008 Author Report Posted October 27, 2008 Well most of the time it goes pretty easily. and I believe my carbs would be pretty bad..I have to open here soon and clean. The plugs are new. But starting now when it is pretty cold sucks bigtime. And with choke on or not im always having to give atleast a little gas... It depends on a lot of things. 2001Stroker Posted October 27, 2008 Report Posted October 27, 2008 I can only tell you how my bike starts. Turn on the fuel, and let the carbs fill up. Put foot on kick starter, and kick once. To this day, I have never had to use the choke, give it any throttle, or kick it more than once or twice. Even in 30 degree weather. I usually don't ride it any colder than that. She fires up everytime. Quote
some87 Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 what should the compression be at on a stock shee Quote
