bansheesickness Posted October 12, 2008 Report Posted October 12, 2008 can you polish the pits out of metal or do you need to sand it first there is about 6 or so steps in polishing parts. its allot eiser to send the part to cascade. and you soposed to use a polishing bench grinder, which turns about 1750 rpm, where as a normal bench grinder turns at 3500 rpm. check out the site below, very helpfull. it cost me around 200 to get set up. thats just the polishing compounds, the bench polisher will set you back quite a bit more. i tryed to go the cheap route and do it my self. after i was done polishing my cubs and my wifes juggs, i had a totaly different view. its a mess, i loked like a coal miner every time i used the polisher. polishing Quote
