hey guys i was tightning my pressure bolts CAREFULLY so i wont snap the bolts and guess what ,i snapped two of them meaning am only running 3 springs how bad is this untill i get the funds to buy a new inner clutch hub and new springs.......

just a thought and dont know if it would help or fry ur clutch or whatever but are the bolts u snapped opposite of one another? what if u got heavy duty springs and used them in place of ur stock ones?

obviously it would be equal pressure all the way around but...i guess well see what someone else says

me personally though i would wait till i had the funds to fix it the right way

sorry ive never ran a bike with a bad /slipping clutch can some one explain how that feels

lol k...remember when u first learned to ride a clutch..all the high rpm reving to get out of first but youre not really going anywhere? its kinda like that

Two things, it's gonna slip...and more than likely it's going to ruin the clutch.

Use a torque wrench...7.5 ft lbs is all you need. That's not much.

When I've snapped them in the past..take it apart, and the threads came out pretty easily (because there's usually tranny oil still there).

Use a small drill, drill the middle of the bolt and use a phillips or torx screw driver to back it out. I'd bet it comes out pretty easily...

But yeah, do NOT run that bike with only three springs.
