jjn56 Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 Well I was leaking fuel real bad out of the right carb so I took it apart and cleaned it and ordered a carb rebuild kit and put in new needle valves and seats. Put it back together and its still leaking just as bad as before. The floats are set at about .86-.87 which is within spec according to the manual I checked with calipers so I know its right. What else could it be? any suggestions? Thanks Quote
jjn56 Posted September 23, 2008 Author Report Posted September 23, 2008 Well I went home at lunch and fired it up and drove around for about 20 minutes and for the first few minutes it was pouring gas everywhere but after that it quit so I'll keep my fingers crossed that it stays that way. Quote
dhopkins99 Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 try tapping your carbs, may just be stuck from installation. Quote
Paddleboy Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 most the time when you clean the carbs or whatever and they dry out the float sticks so just tap it if it happens agian. Quote
