gumby6t9 Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 So my stock hangers are starting to rip. Well, more like debond... I'm thinking of modding them to match the cascade ones. The rubber is still good it's just pulling away from the steel. Any body have the cascade ones? Do they just have a washer and nut on the back of them? Obviously mine won't be chrome but cascade must just drill and bolt theirs together... right? What do you guys think? Quote
ToomeySheeLE Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 I modded mine and they're holding up great.. Just drilled 2 small holes in each one and put a small bolt through, then locking nut on the other side.. I would recommend using locktite, and make the holes big enough that you can use the largest diameter bolt possible without wrecking it all together.. I tried smalled ones and they accually would break the ends off from all the vibration... Good luck Quote
