lt1bird Posted September 20, 2008 Report Posted September 20, 2008 (edited) LOL cant get the main drive gear nut off...got the clutch basket bolt off with the impact gun....but the main drive gear nut is not budging. Holding the flywheel super tight.....impact gun on the nut and its not coming off. It does come off Counter clockwise? Had to ask as the manual does not say.... Any hints??? lt1bird Posted September 21, 2008 Author Report Posted September 21, 2008 These things are so easy to work on.....All you have to do is this... 1) Put breaker bar on bolt...very long one.... 2) Put flywheel holding tool on flywheel 3) Put engine on ground 4) heat the bolt with a torch 5) Stand on top of the f-in engine 6) Hit the breaker bar with a small sledge hammer........off it comes....simple.... now to split the case....god help me Quote
