just got my juggs back from getting ported at passions, and im putting everything together i checked both cylinders both sides and im coming up with an average of .047 - .048 depending on how i press on my digital calipers. does this sound about right for squish on 20cc dones?

ASK JIM....

He set up your motor...there is no magic number.

You can either trial and error, or ask the builder who has taken the time to figure that out for you.

 

There are averages what people run, some like more, some like less. But ultimately, it is up to the builder.

Squish is only one part of building an engine when it comes to clearances, math, timing, etc.

i did, well i called, hes kinda hard to get ahold of sometimes cause hes so damn busy. but he called me back this morning after i left a message and sent a txt, he said between .045- .050 is where he wanted it so im good =]
