TeamRealtreeHD Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 I got a +4 swinger, and need the stock shock re-valved for this. Anybody know who does it, or does anyone here want to tackle this job? Quote

TeamRealtreeHD Posted September 9, 2008 Author Report Posted September 9, 2008 I ordered it Friday morning and it showed up this afternoon with the rollers and guides. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 they are not cheap by any means but you should look at TCS. they will revalve it so that thing rides like a caddy. Quote

I think they are chargin 300 for single preload or 400 with 0 preload. Dont remember for sure though. Otherwise you might try "shane" with wolfpack racing. I'm pretty sure he used to do them for members on here, but Im not sure if he still does or is even still around. +4 man huh?? You must be doin all hillshoots up there. Crazy.... Quote
wacko2000 Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Works did mine for my +2 they call it a heart transplant and I couldnt be happier.Night and day over stock, so smooth its awesome. Yes its alittle expensive but still half the price of a new aftermarket shock..They revalve with new spring and all.. Highly recommended.. I think mine was around $350 or soo Quote

LiftdT4R Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 All hillclimbs and duning/dragging for me. Damn, that thing with a +4, 4mil 421 cub, and 22" mud tires is gonna be tearin ass up those hills. I got to get out there and see what it's all about. I just put my carbs back together, but I'm waiting for a day that it doesnt rain so I can sync them and play around a little bit. Still tryin to get my new bike up there though. Quote

That makes 2 of us, im dying to get out there, been there once on the new motor, first trip and was dialed in, maybe in the next few weeks ill get up there with the new setup.. Goin to jessup on sunday weather permitting.. Quote
okbeast Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Truthfully I'd try it with the +4 before getting it re-valved. I ran a stock shock on my +4 and it rode fine in some very rough dunes. Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 The way Kevin is talking, he is going toi have the cub running the same way the stock ported jugs were but just more power everywhere, with a ton up top. I can't wait to try it out. From what I am gathering from others as well, the +4 with this shock should work. That will save me alot too. The 22" will be a hoot with this motor. Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted September 10, 2008 Author Report Posted September 10, 2008 What are you goin to do with you current setup? I sold it already.... jugs, pistons, wrist pin bearings, etc. I am not going to install the cub until around February/March. Hunting srats in 3 weeks, so I will be switching over for awhile. But give Kevin a call. He will set one up for you. He has tricks up his sleeve. Quote
