bbcmudtruck Posted September 11, 2008 Author Report Posted September 11, 2008 Yep I got it. I might end up buying some from you guys if I can't find any good used ones, but I can't give you my 17s for $25. Quote
flyhighprerunner Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 just curious why you are going to a 15cc dome? Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted September 11, 2008 Author Report Posted September 11, 2008 After my port job my compression has been low. I'm not sure as to why, but I only have around 160-165lbs with 17s. Quote
flyhighprerunner Posted September 11, 2008 Report Posted September 11, 2008 dude thats pretty good still, there is alot of builders that want you too run your compresssion at that area, do you think you might have to put a top end in it one day? Im just saying because the cylinders might be worn out and time for a freshen up! Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted September 11, 2008 Author Report Posted September 11, 2008 Nope, the cylinders are completely fresh with bore, hone and new wiescos. Is there much to gain going from 165 to 185? Quote
dlnoss Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Have you checked the squish clearance to make sure you don't have way too much? 17's are small. I don't think I've ever had an order for 15cc domes, maybe one order for 16's in the past four years. -David Quote
TeamRealtreeHD Posted September 12, 2008 Report Posted September 12, 2008 Somethings gotta be wrong... I had a port job, Noss head with 17cc domes, .020 bore/hone and had 190 PSI. Quote
