OKCterror Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 So i went out to the garage to work on the shee today since im at home all week with 2 torn tendons in my back, and changed from my sand tires to my maxxis mx's and cleaned off the bike, tuned it alittle and fired it up. Did 2 SLOW laps around the yard and for some reason its not running right. Its got a bogg in the low end till it picks up then hauls pure ass. Ive had my carbs cleaned, synced, and jetted 3times so far and the leak prob will no go away so im living with it till i get my new carbs in. 36mm's. What can be the reason for the bog? Quote

What can be the reason for the bog? adjust your air/fuel mixture screw, also known as the pilot jet adjustment. My buddy's 'shee had the same exact issue, to the T... Screw it down to the bottom, but not tight, just enough to know your at the bottom, then start with 1.5 turns out. Good luck... Quote

I absolute take the big one when it comes to carbs.lol. It's a small flat-head set screw, and yes, it's on the left side, kind of towwards the back of the carb. And also yes, do it to both carbs. I don't have any pics handy, but maybe someone here does, dunno. Good luck... Anthony Quote
OKCterror Posted September 5, 2008 Author Report Posted September 5, 2008 Is it the one on the far right side by where the intake from the airfilter is? I had to slightly adjst the idle screw to get it alittle smoother but not to much Quote
jharader Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 if it ran fine before and just started id say check your air filter first then mess with the air screws.. never adjust the carbs with a used n dirty air filter  Quote
OKCterror Posted September 5, 2008 Author Report Posted September 5, 2008 its clean, is that the right screw though, the small one on the right Quote
