acfine Posted September 8, 2008 Author Report Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) DUDE, that royally sucks!!! You were just asking about reeds and we got you into jetting. Sorryabout the shee bro... You can fix her up... maybe... Glad you are somewhat OK.... Keep us posted... Well, I spent most of the weekend fixing my 'shee back up. I have everything straightened out, and some new parts on order. Hoefully by this weekend I;ll have it back to normal. I'm gonna try with the 25 Pilot jets and work on the fine tuning to see if I can get the low end power back. If I can't, I may try the 27.5 Pilot jets. Thanks, Anthony Edited September 8, 2008 by acfine Quote

Be safe! lol What happened anyway bro...? How did you bite it? Edited September 8, 2008 by mdhc500 Quote

Be safe! lol What happened anyway bro...? How did you bite it? Or he could try fine tune with the air screws... Turn air screws .5 turn at a time and see if it clears upr. If he ends up at .5 turns from full in then you know it needs a bigger pilot. Quote

Be safe! lol What happened anyway bro...? How did you bite it? I was coming into a turn, and some how, my front left tire grabbed and flipped me over forwards at an angle. Broke the rim it dug so hard. I went back to where I wiped out to see if I missed something, but can't find anything that would have caused this. Quote

Anyone know where I can find a stock front left rim? Quote
acfine Posted October 2, 2008 Author Report Posted October 2, 2008 You could try the needle on the 4th clip instead 3rd before you swap the pilot out. It may help with the low end a bit... Be safe! lol What happened anyway bro...? How did you bite it? Well, I figured out what happened, I was in a sharp right turn that we had rutted pretty good, and was a bit over confident and hit it pretty fast, expecting to just sling the ass end around and hammer down on it even more. With me turning right, my left front tire grabbed and pulled the bars hard left, and in doing so, since I had a twist throttle, it just opened it to wide open. Th f*cking thing came loose... I finally got all the broken parts replaced, and the frame straightened out... I ordered the 27.5's, just to have them on hand in case I need them. I have been 1/4 truning the air screw and it's getting better, but it feels like I'm almost all the way out with it, so I thought I might need to go to a bigger jet. At this point, should I move the needle clip to the fourth position, and re-adjust the air-screw, or go with the 27.5's? Or are the 27.5's just too fat for the pilot end. Oh, I also ordered a Chariot Racing timing plate and will be installing it this weekend to +4, how will that affect the low end situation I'm in? Meaning, if I advance the timing is the 27.5 jet the way to go, or the needle clip, or both or neither? Thanks guys... Quote
