Why buy a whole new flywheel, just pull yours, send it out, and then put it back on when it comes back?

The RS ones are a little pricey, and to be honest. I run one on my new bike, and I don't think the magnets are any stronger as they claim, and the wheel seems to be a tad heavier then stock. If your trying to avoid down time on the bike just buy a good used stock flywheel.

As far as lightening, a number of shops do them. I got mine done by "boonman" a member on here. I'm not sure if he still does them or is even still around, but he did a damn good job on it.

I would steer clear of the RS flywheels. I have heard that the pickups can be a few degrees off. That can play hell with bigger HP motors. I seen a lightened one on ebay a day or so ago for less then $50 I think. Good price cause most guys wont lighten them for less then that. I would lighten the one you have for you. PM me if your interested.

Yes it does!!! The lightened flywheel will rev quicker, but the revs will also drop quicker.

I didnt like it for the woods, because as soon as I let off the throttle the revs would come way down. Not good in the tighter spots. If I ran dunes or drag though Id definately do one again.
