OKCterror Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Whats the best way to cut your front fenders. Im asking for help from guys who did it already and am not asking if i should or not. Did you eyeball it, use a template, or what??? Pics of your fenders would be great too. I already had my fenders cut for my pipes but i want to cut them off for the sand. Quote
714banshee380 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 dremel with a cut off tool. Or jigsaw. Then use a razorblade to get all the chunks out. Then use some 600 grit to smooth it out. I've heard of people using a torch to make the edges look shiny. I never went that far though Quote
shanYE west Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I mapped it out with a marker.. Used a jig saw and cut about .5" away from the line.. then I used a wire wheel and sanded it up to the line.. then like 714 said.. I hit it with some sand papper to get the burrs off and smooth it out. Had it done in no time.. Quote
