Update: Brandon is home from the hospital!!!! The doctors believe the last antibiotic that they had him taking, is working. They had him on this particular antibiotic for almost 36 hours and has greatly reduced the swelling in his lip. As far as I know, the culture test had not came back yet but the doctors felt as though he was well enough to go home. Both today and tomorrow, twice a day, he has to go back to the hospital to continue the antibiotic IV. They have prescribed him Lortab 10 (couldn't talk the doc's into anything better ) So, we'll see how this all plays out today and tomorrow. I'll definitely keep everyone updated as I get the info! Last night I told Brandon about eveyone's concern and he is deeply appreciative of everyones kind words. Shawn...nice flowers...Brandon said next time send him some fucking parts! haha! ....gotta love the Ledhead's!

I sure will! I know he appreciates everything. Hopefully he won't have to stay another night at that damn hospitl...but I'll let everyone know as soon as I know something!

Updated: It looks as though this last round of antibiotics that Brandon has been giving intravenously are working. It is still too early to tell if in fact they are working enough to kill/cure the infection. If everything goes as planned, and the antibiotics continue to work he could come home either tonight or tomorrow. As soon as I hear more I'll let everyone know!

Brandon, ledofthezep, has been in the hospital since Sunday with a staph infection in his lip. He does not know the severity of the infection but the doctors are concerned that the infection could spread to his brain and/or to other parts of his body. Yesterday morning around 11am the doctors at the current hospital started their final antibiotic treatment to help cure the infection. In about 15 minutes we will know whether or not the last antibiotic that they have to offer is working. If not, he will be moved to another hospital in Wichita. As much as he knows, the worst case scenario could be his lip being huge for a long time. He is being kept in the dark about the severity of the infection so he does not get stressed, which could cause more problems. I'm not sure that being kept in the dark is the best way to handle the situation but I also understand that more stress could lead to other problems. Please pray for my best friend and your guys' friend as well! Thanks, Preston

Of course, they are much higher "grade" of shock compared to Works, but for a lot more dough! I have Works Triple rates w/ rezzies on my 400ex, they are so much better than stock. It's nice to be able to ride across rough sand and have the front shocks soak up the rough terrain. Do you have or are you planning on getting aftermarket a-arms? If money is a concern I would go with Works, if not, hell, get Axis!

That would have been him. I hate hearing about anyone getting hurt, but this dude had it coming....3rd gear pinned in the camping area and drunker than piss, serves him right IMO.

Led and I were camping with bansheefreak and his bro so we saw the dude hit the damn post, idiot. The dude who hit the post was not who was airlifted out but did hear that he died of his head injuries, but I don't know for sure. The person who got airlifted was a girl who busted up her leg pretty bad. Hell, just about an hour before she got hurt we were all checking her out as she drove by our camp...she was hott too

I guess I would do what a 'normal' person would do, get off your quad and go talk to the girl like a man. ...I wouldn't go talk to any fat chicks anyway...so I guess do what you see "fit!"
